Johnson Museum of Art discover a world of art The Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art houses one of the finest collections of art in New York State, with breathtaking views of Cayuga Lake, the Ithaca landscape, and Cornell from the panoramic windows of I. M. Pei's landmark building. There are over 20 special exhibitions every year, plus selections from a global permanent collection, displayed on six public floors. The collection includes art from throughout Asia, 19th- and 20th-century American art, the graphic arts, medallic art, Tiffany glass, video art, European art ranging from ancient Greek and Roman sculpture to Old Master prints and twentieth-century works, pre-Columbian art, and African art. Join us for our free Art for Lunch tours of exhibitions, or come for visiting artist talks and lectures. At the front desk, pick up a "Stories in Asian Art" audio tour wand, a handheld computerized tour of the Asian collection, or a special Art Trek pack for families and explore the Museum at your own pace.
